Who we are
Menter Llambed was formed in May 2000 to provide a focus for community based development. It is a joint undertaking between the Lampeter Town Council (the voluntary sector), the Lampeter Chamber of Trade (business) and the University of Wales Lampeter (the public sector).

Menter Llambed mission is to:
To create, foster and develop projects for the town of Lampeter and its district, which will stimulate economic, social, environmental and tourism.

The Vision
To enhance and develop Lampeter in its historic role as an economic, commercial, cultural and social centre in the central Teifi valley.
The Aims
To make the town and its locality an attractive and vibrant location for inhabitants and visitors alike.
To enable the town and its area to celebrate its community feeling, its sense of place and its location.
To enhance through project development access to amenities for all age groups and sectors within the community and provide opportunities and support to enterprise.
